Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a swiftly advancing field, with new ideas emerging every other second. The department at SRITE has a well equipped, experienced and dedicated faculty to not only complete a set curriculum but deploy skills and encourage research. With a total number of labs- Microwave Lab, Signal Systems Lab, Microprocessor & Microcontroller Lab, Digital ICs Lab, Analog & Digital Communication Lab, Electronic Circuits Lab, R&D labs.

During first year of engineering electronics engineering students learn about Common engineering courses like Engineering mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing and fundamentals of computing. From second year they will start learning about analog systems, digital systems, electric networks, microprocessor, control systems, communication systems, power systems, electromagnetic systems, electrical machines, and power generation techniques. By the end of final year students can be well equipped with the understanding of working and application of electronic systems and engineering.

There are equally good opportunities for jobs in electronic engineering industry and higher education. There is lot of multidisciplinary research for developing electric vehicles with great funding and scope all over there world. On the same time good opportunities back home in industry.
